Mont Blanc Lodge

Chalet, situated in the heart of Chamonix town. The location is perfect for access to the Lifts, the town as well as the free transport system to get you to the many different areas in the incredible Chamonix Valley. There is no other chalet in Chamonix with this enviable location.

After extensive renovations in the summer of 2004 Mont Blanc Lodge now offers 4 bedrooms, all with private en-suite bathrooms. Two Doubles and two twin / doubles. For Groups of 10 we are able to place extra beds in one of the twin rooms, this is usually a great option if there are children in the group, but can be used for adults as well.

Finished to the highest standard all rooms have beautiful strip pine floors, pine ceilings and antique radiators to ensure your rooms are warm during the cold winter months. All rooms have wired internet access points, simply plug your laptop in and away you go. The bathrooms all have private toilets deep basins and incredible showers. All our guests in 2004/2005 commented on how good the showers are, perfect for when you get back from the mountain. Or how about a Sauna? There is a large Sauna on the ground floor with yet another bathroom!

We have traced the chalet back to 1870 but there are plenty of clues to the chalets original construction possibly 100 years earlier.

It is one of the few remaining original Chamonix town Chalets having survived the drive to build large hotels during the Victorian boom.

We have worked hard to refurbish the lodge to provide all modern comforts without sacrificing any of its original charm. Nothing has been overlooked, all rooms now have private en-suite bathrooms, internet access points, spectacular views of the entire valley. The living room has full UK satellite TV, A massive DVD collection and a computer for all to use with free internet access, not to mention the famous MBL helicopter game! there is also Wi-Fi internet access throughout the lodge and a computer in the living room for all to use.

Our catered rates include breakfast and 4 course evening dinner with free flowing wine.

A choice of Continental or cooked breakfast, 4 course evening dinner and a fantastic selection of wines.

We take one night off from cooking which will give you an opportunity to sample one of the many restaurants in Chamonix, alternatively we can arrange a special night out in a nearby village. Our recommended restaurant is high in the mountains overlooking the spectacle of the Mont Blanc Massif. We will drive you to the base of the mountain where You will be collected by Ski-Doo's and taken you up the mountain to the restaurant. After a great meal everyone is given a sledge and there is a 5km sledge ride back to the car. A truly unforgettable experience! We will require plenty of notice to be able to arrange this as it is a very popular restaurant.
