Situated some 10km from Nice Airport this superb Provencal style villa is owned by a British Architect and a French writer.

Its spacious 230sqm of accommodation is all on one level and enjoys panoramic views of the Baous and the Var valley. Sited in St Jeannet just below the Chateau, the property has 4000sqm of grounds offering plenty of space to relax in hammocks under the Olive trees or beside the pool.

The villa is a short drive from St Paul de Vence, and is the perfect place to stay whilst visiting Nice, Cannes, Antibes or Monaco. The perched Medieval villages of St Jeannet and Gattieres offer good local restaurants, and are France as it should be without the tourist trappings.

The master bedroom is extremely spacious with French doors opening onto the view, and a separate seating area plus en suite bathroom.

Towels are provided, guests need to provide their own pool towels. The property is cleaned at the start of your stay and you are expected to hand it back in clean condition, maid service can be provided if requested in advance. Linen charge 45 Euros.

The swimming pool has a constant depth of 1.5m. A children's paddling pool and sandpit are provided.

Wheelchair friendly
The property is wheelchair accessible via the rear entrance doors (there is one step to the rear terrace)- wheelchairs can circulate throughout, as accommodation is on one level, there are no internal steps - this has been tested by my mother who is handicapped. However we would advise beyond the terrace area access in the grounds is not realistic.

St Laurent Port and Beach are approx 10 mins drive away.

Golf
Nearest Golf 5km.

Skiing
Skiing is available at Isola 2000, Auron, Valburg all of which are about 1hr 10mins drive from the Villa. The Ski season is normally Dec to April.

Nice Airport - 10km. Use of a car is recommended.

Locally there are excellent local shops, two small supermarkets, bank, service station etc; There is a good choice of local restaurants, St Jeannet has Vineyards and some of the best charcuterie in the region.
River bathing is possible in shaded rockpools, there is rock climbing, superb walks with panoramic views along the coast, horse riding and white water rafting.
