The house is situated in the small friendly village of St Jean Pla de Corts in Roussillon in the region known as the Vallespir. It is one of the most unspoilt areas of the South of France - a land of mountains, gorges, forests, streams, cherry orchards and vineyards - and enjoys an average of over 300 days of sunshine a year.

The house is built within the walls of the ancient chateau of St Jean Pla de Corts in the Tech valley, and is situated beside a small square at the edge of the village with superb uninterrupted views across the river Tech to the Alberes mountains.
