You will stay, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean sea, in the heart of Languedoc, magnificent by its cultural inheritance and wine-growing : the Cité de Carcassonne, gallo-roman and medieval, and the Canal du Midi, monuments registered in the world inheritance of UNESCO, are just 4 kms away.

The Abbeys of Fontfroide, Lagrasse and Saint Hilaire are very close to the estate. The soil of the Corbieres and the Minervois overwhelm the area, concealing the famous cathar castles.

The Domaine de Maran is an ancient family wine estate. The host house was rebuilt at the beginning of the XIXth century on a site inhabited since the XIIIth century.

The estate offers two bed and breakfast rooms. You enter through the back of the two hectares park, where little by little you discover its pleasantness : Mediterranean hundred-years-old trees sheltering the song of the cicadas, walkways, swimming-pool, ornamental lake, rose garden....

Golf players will be glad to see that our estate is adjoining the magnificent golf course of Carcassonne.
